The Hashoo Group was established in 1960 by Saddaruddin Hashwani and is one of the larger conglomorates in Pakistan. The Hashoo Group initially operated as a trading enterprise. The Hashoo Group business in cotton trading, hospitality, oil and gas exploration and production, information technology, investments, minerals, ceramics pharmaceuticals, travel and tourism, real estate and commodity trading businesses.

The Hashoo Group of Companies includes the Pearl Continental Hotels, Marriott Hotels, and Orient Petroleum International.
